  2. Mrs M. J. Jeffrey

Abstract

A case of conjunctival amyloid in a 56 year old lady is described in whom no evidence of predisposing localised or systemic disease was found. Histochemistry and immunocytochemistry showed that the amyloid was immunoglobulin-derived. The clinical and pathological features of conjunctival amyloid are discussed.
