Massive Congenital Pelvic Arteriovenous Fistula

ABSTRACT

Pelvic arteriovenous fistulae, congenital or traumatic, are rare. The management of such problems are enormous and new approaches are being sought to improve results of both operative and non-operative techniques. A case is presented of a patient with a massive congenital pelvic arteriovenous fistula, emphasising the unusual clinical presentation and attempts at therapeutic embolisation.
